Red Rock Ordnance Was Hacked! Not Really, But Nice Claim

The radio show is still set to air. We are not asking you to download anything. You can simply call into the show. You can check for yourself that the site we are using to host is legitimate. We have a suspicion that Round Rock Ordnance and Charles Clifton will be listening in. Here is your chance to say what you really feel!

Research startmeeting.com for yourself, please! We trust in transparency. We want you to do your own research. Red Rock Ordnance and Charles Clifton do not.

This comes for the FaceBook page of Round Rock Ordnance:

WARNING. We have been hacked. Many of you have been messaged and asked to join a meeting and DOWNLOAD a file to participate. This is a pilfering scam being undertaken by several individuals with a personal vendetta against RRO’s. Their claims are baseless and motives are less than honorable.

Never trust anyone who asks you to download anything to your computer. We believe that at least one of the people behind this is the same person who has gained illegal access to our databases, financial records and banks accounts.

This person or people have likely committed crimes in gaining access to confidential information and is likely making it worse by spreading it. We have seen what is posted, know who it/they is/are and are taking corrective action behind the scenes to deal with these inaccurate and incomplete information releases.

CRITICAL- It is highly likely that the email you have received contains tracking and key logging codes. If you have not, do not open it or click on any links. These people have violated ALL of your privacy and have made your email addresses public. We are working to determine if any other information has been stolen and will update everyone as we proceed. All information security recommendations apply.

Again, do not download anything, RRO has nothing to do with theses messages and the individual(s) that are behind it may be engaged in criminal activity.

We are working with Facebook and our ISP to un-do the damage done by these people. This may cause our Facebook page and/or website be go offline now and again over the next few days.

We are still working on everyone’s refunds and will continue to do so. We are going to be posting a shipping and general update within 48 hours.”

Somebody worried, Charles?

could you comment on how you received our email address?

  2. justinelze says:

You can’t file a dispute with paypal after 45 days of payment….Seems like a bunch of us might never get our money back.

    • Call them – it works. Online is not the forum you want. USE the phone, mention that they let the funds go without verifying your product was delivered.

      • jurmond says:

It didn’t work for me. In the end, I had to call my credit card company. I did say that RRO never shipped product, but I failed to mention that paypal violated their own TOS by releasing funds to RRO.

Please, which has more power to pursue Clifton: Paypal or a credit card company?

    • Make the phone call. The internet dispute is not he way to go.

Anything over 45 days you will have to go through your CC company. I just got off the phone with Paypal they would not refund my funds at all. I also requested that they put out an alert due to the amount of people that will be calling so maybe they will work on opening a case to refund funds. I wish you the best of luck. This whole thing sucks.

  4. P. says:

Just got off the phone with PP and after a long conversation they agreed to grant me a “one time” extension to the 45 day rule. I have used PP for over a decade, so that may have helped my cause. I don’t have my money back yet, but I’m still in the game.

  5. John C says:

RRO’s Facebook page is gone now. It’ll be interesting to see if it returns or not. I was not able to make the call, looking forward to the transcript or recording to be posted.

  6. Doug says:

Now the SHTF because now matter what RDO states, even if a Facebook page or the Website returns (most likely not) EVERYONE will cancel/try to get their money back AND contact ALL the authorities they can to FRY Charles Clifton. As the saying goes Charles Clifton, YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CAN’T HIDE. Hope you didn’t love living in Texas, I hear they have an agency called the Texas Rangers and they are pretty good at getting bad guys.

  7. matt says:

He ripped off 2 guns from me last year….i hope he ends up in cuffs.

  8. Mike says:

Just got off the phone with PayPal. They said they will make a “best effort” to contact Red Rock to resolve my claim for a refund even though I’m past the 45 day mark. I did mention the violation of their TOS and that’s the best they said they would do. They told me that Red Rock cannot refund via PayPal since they are NOT in good standing. I guess I’ll be seeing what my bank can do.

  9. Call PayPal directly. They re-opened my claim even though the 45 days had passed and gave RedRock 10 days to issue a full refund. After the 11th day they say they will take the funds directly from them and refund me my money. It’s not money yet but it’s something.

  10. Plus I filed a claim with my credit card company. Cover all your bases.
